Learn the theoretical portion for all four required courses for the Accredited Gemologist (A.G.) Diploma.

In order to receive the A.G. Diploma, you must successfully complete both the online theory and practical lab segments.

The practical lab is held at AIGS in Bangkok several times per year. The duration is 35 days (5 days per week for 7 weeks). You’ll have access to all the essential instruments and large stone collection. 

Students must successfully complete the online theory prior to scheduling the practical lab segment.

Duration: Self-paced; complete within 180 days

Examinations: Three attempts within 3 months
Theory: Exam online 75%
Practical: On Campus – 100%
Should a student fail either or both the written and practical exams, they are allowed a maximum of two retakes.
