Our half-day Abrasive Wheels course is designed to give understanding and skills when employees have to work with abrasive wheels. Under the Safety, Health & Welfare at work act, an abrasive wheels training has to be completed when you are using, mounting or changing these wheels in your job.
Who should attend this course?
Anyone who wants to be trained and certified in the safe handling and changing of an abrasive wheel. this course covers you to be listed in your safety statement as trained.

- Mount discs and wheels safely,
- Identify hazards associated with abrasive wheel
- Dress and true abrasive wheels

Methods of Training
The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by demonstration, practical tasks and assessment of individual skills.
Assessment and certification:
Continuous assessment throughout the course. Students receive a PSTC Certificate on completion. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
