The Teachers Training Course (TTC) program designed by Wise Living Yoga Academy is accredited by the International Board of Yoga, and intend to provide strong foundation on Classical Yoga Philosophy (Patañjali Ashtanga Yoga), Lifestyle Principles (Yogachara) and Yoga Techniques (Hatha cum Raja Yoga). It will endow the Yoga Aspirants (Sadhakas) and Teacher Trainees with guiding principles for his own Personal Development & Habituation to Spiritual Consciousness and also theDidactics & Methodology for imparting Yoga Wisdom & Training to individuals of all ages and provide basic advice for the management of common ailments.
Participants who complete the course successfully will receive an internationally accepted Yoga Certificate accredited by the International Board of Yoga, India and recognized by Yoga Alliance, USA at the 200 hours level.

Our Yoga TTC program is especially structure to comply with the International Standards of 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training programs.
Category of Disciplines and Description:
– Covering the study of the Background of Yoga and Traditional Texts (Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, Samkhya Philosophy, Bhagvada Gita), Yogic Lifestyle (based of the 4 principles of Yogachara - Ahar, Achar, Vihar, Vichar) and includes Ethics for the Yoga Teacher.
2. Techniques: Training & Practice (T) - (102 hours) Hatha Yoga Practice (traditonal & modern application)Divided in:
- Analytical Training in how to teach and practice the techniques; and
- Guided Practice of the techniques themselves;
– Covering the learning of techniques, training and practice. Includes principles of instruction, demonstration, observation, assisting/correcting: traditional asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, bandhas, mudras, mantras, and other traditional techniques. Conscious training in concentration and other practices which are conducive to Meditation are also covered here.
3. Teaching Methodology & Didactics (TM&D) - (26 hours)Special Training in Yoga Education
– Covering the principles of Experiential Learning, Attitude Training (bhavas) along with Asanas & Conceptual Activities. Includes principles of instruction, teaching styles, use of teaching aids, motivation, the student’s process of learning and the qualities of a teacher.
4. Anatomy & Physiology (A&P) - (20 hours)– Covering the Actual Teaching Practice and aspect of Public Speaking. Includes giving correct instructions and demonstrations, giving and receiving feedback, observing others teaching and assisting students while someone else is teaching.

Daniel is the Co-founder & Headmaster of Wise Living Yoga Academy and has been conducting Yoga Teacher Training courses & Workshops in India, South Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand, Bali) and South America (Brazil) along with his wife Jeenal Mehta. Born in Brazil he was interested in Martial Arts and Adventure sports and got his bachelor degree in Tourism. After spending a few years in Europe and completing a pilgrimage throughout Northern Spain in 2005 he made his way to Indiawhere he is living since 2006. He has then adopted the Yoga Philosophy as his way of life and he inspires his students with teachings based on Classical Yoga, Bhagavad Gita & Shri Yogendra’s methods for the practice of Hatha Yoga. Besides his formal training in Yoga Education & Therapy at The Yoga Institute of Santacruz, Mumbai, India, where he is also now faculty teacher, he holds a Diploma in Buddhist studies & Vipassana Meditation from University of Mumbai.

Jeenal Mehta Fonseca
Jeenal is the Co-founder and Director of Wise Living Yoga Academyand has been conducting Yoga Teacher Training courses & Workshops in India, South Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand, Bali) and South America (Brazil) along with her husband Daniel Fonseca. From young age she is studying and applying the philosophy of Bhakti Yoga in her life. Now she is actively training several clients with challenging history of obesity, diabetes, arthritis, hypertension and postural disorders, etc. She is also a motivating counsellor for weight management, stress, anxiety, depression and other life problems. She has also been a successful trainer to clients for anti-smoking and an addiction-free lifestyle. She is a passionate animal and nature lover and teaches Yoga to spread ecological awareness and vegetarianism amongst the people. She is motivated by Mahatma Gandhi and such personalities and aims to bring sustainable development in the society and especially to the younger generation through Yoga. She is also a faculty teacher at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai which is the world's oldest Yoga organization.
